"I was sick and you looked after me."
Matthew 25:36

Apac/Aber, Uganda - Jul. 1998, Jan. 2000 & Feb. 2001

Our first visit to the Apac district was to be Rev. Web Carroll’s last trip with us before his retirement in 1998. Since the first visit, we have been back three times and we plan to return in January 2002.

We have established a great rapport with and love of the people in this district. We hope to build a full time AIDS support clinic there soon (see where we are going). We average about 6,000-7,000 patients per trip and have done hundreds of surgeries there.

Sisters Rose, Gabriella, Ester, Agnes and all of the other dear nuns have grown to mean a great deal to us. Their hospitality is very special to us.  Not many of us would feel comfortable running a hospital off of generators that give electricity about four hours per day.
