Gulu, Uganda - 1995

Now seventeen team members traveled to Gulu to assist the home district of Honorable Betty Bigumbe (had arranged for helicopter flight the year before from Adjumani to Gulu). We saw over 7,000 patients, did many surgeries and gave out glasses and hearing aids.

We saw our first victims of rebel torture. Dr. David Harris created an upper lip for a man who had his cut off by the rebels.

We saw God work in many ways.

The epicenter of an Ebola outbreak in November of 2000 was in Gulu at Lacor Hospital. We went by that hospital on visit in February 2001.
